Episode 6: The Power of Sharing your Story

Grounding Scripture:  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement, who encourages us in our every affliction, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any affliction with the encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God.” 2 Cor 1:3-4

In this episode, Kelly, Brittany, and Elizabeth are just coming off our annual in-person grieving mother’s retreat, Restored.  Red Bird Ministries has many different opportunities to share your story, but nothing beats journeying with a community of women with the sacraments and sharing our stories and hearts in the presence of Christ. We see transformation and healing happen in front of our eyes.

Join us in this episode to hear how we all can be healed through the invitation to share our story of grief and suffering and be inspired to share your own story.  The works of the Lord in your life, in your heart, and through your suffering may be just the encouragement another grieving parent needs to hear. The world needs your story to be told ~ the healing isn’t just meant for you.

This episode is sponsored by the Lumen Christi Retreat Center, a Catholic retreat center in Schriever, LA offering generous overnight space for adult and youth retreats. The peaceful, pastoral setting includes a Catholic chapel, full dining services, and several conference room options, as well as beautiful outdoor spaces.  Please consider the Lumen Christi Retreat Center for your next event.
