Please join us for a Mass of Remembrance on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 9:00 AM. After the Mass, we will host a reception where we'll provide information about the ministry launch.
The Mass of Remembrance is for parents, grandparents, family members, and friends of those who have experienced the loss of a child from pregnancy through adulthood.
Sign-in sheets will be available at the entrance to the church for families to sign their child’s name to be read during intercessions. Families are invited to come up and light your child's candle when his/her name has been read.

Diocese of Lafayette, LA - Loving Through Loss Couples Workshop
Red Bird Ministries, a ministry within the Diocese of Lafayette, LA, presents Loving through Loss, a Couples Workshop for grieving families in partnership with St. Mary Magdalen.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at St. Mary Magdalen, located at 300 Pere Megret St, Abbeville, LA 70510
Check-in for the retreat will take place at 8:00 am and will conclude with the 4 PM VIGIL Mass. Mass will count as your Sunday obligation.
Registration is FREE but required for material preparation. Please make sure you complete your registration by going to your shopping cart and checking out. You will receive a confirmation email.
Donations are accepted to cover material costs.
