Communication is one of the most important aspects of a healthy marriage. It's also one of the most difficult to maintain, especially after the loss of a child.
The death of a child can have a profound impact on all aspects of your life—including communication with your spouse. When you're grieving, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and isolated. And when you're trying to process such an enormous loss, it can be difficult to open up to others and share your experiences with them in order to receive support.
After losing a child, couples often find that they fall into old patterns of communication: blaming each other for their grief or shutting down entirely because there's nothing left inside anymore. Our hope is that you enter into this guide with an open heart ready to be yoked to your spouse through the heartache of loss, but with a desire to be healed by the Divine Physician.
