At Red Bird Ministries, serving the hearts of families of loss is so important to us. We pride ourselves on the commitment to serving those who have experienced the unthinkable loss of a child. To work at Red Bird Ministries, you must have a servant’s heart.
A servant's heart means to have a mindset or a desire to selflessly and sacrificially serve others, regardless of your feelings towards them or what it may cost you. Having a servant’s heart means not only putting others’ needs ahead of our own but serving with the right motivation—and that is to put God’s will first. Rewards, recognition, or even gratitude cannot be the motivation to live out true servanthood the way Jesus did. May the Lord use our hands and feet to make a difference for His Kingdom, and may our motivation be only God-centered.
