Regina Quiñones
Master of Pastoral Ministry | Red Bird Ministries Chapter Leader for the Diocese of St. Augustine, FL - Sacred Heart Fleming Island
Regina Quiñones holds a Master of Pastoral Ministry from Loyola New Orleans and worked for the Diocese of St. Augustine for nine years as a youth minister. She lost her 27-year-old daughter, Rachel, in 2018 after a five-year battle with cancer. Mrs. Quiñones felt the need to search for a grief program for those grieving the loss of a child. She found Red Bird Ministries in that search. Red Bird Ministries is a Catholic grief support community specifically for those who have lost a child from miscarriage to adulthood. Regina and her husband, Herb, have been married for 38 years, and they also have another daughter, Rebecca.
Mission: Red Bird was founded on helping parents address the profound healing that needs to happen while also honoring the child's memory. Our unique value is in the attention given to protecting the individual, the marriage, and other relationships from a spectrum of issues that can compound and lead to dysfunction.
